People are continuously evolving their life style and it is an unrelenting process. Light is at the commands of who uses it, and as a consequence it has to follow its evolution, the character and the dynamicity. STATUS’ ambition is making available its experience for light-professionals, to create tailor-made solutions for every user, aiming at giving more and more influence to designers and customers. Design at STATUS’ is a mean to improve illumination appliances, the outer aspect must intuitively suggest its function and its creative feature. The results are unique technical solutions and the ideation of products that intelligently exploit progress. Light becomes even more mouldable, individual and flexible. Infinite are the possibilities to enliven environments with light. Nevertheless one of the most fascinating properties of light is to supply ever new architectural interpretations. We define “scenography light” the possibility to plan and set up these transformations, involving also the time dimension. The potential of scenographic light for architecture is evident. Scenographic light improves the quality of indoor and outdoor architectural environments, interacts with the user and magically attracts attention. Coloured light plays a determinant role in this concept, thanks to its remarkable impact on the luminous climate of the environment and its high appealing value. Light sources with dynamic colour variations can produce coloured light. They are based on additive chromatic synthesis of light sources that can be separately programmed in red, green and blue (RGB). Dynamic coloured light can turn architecture into a unique experience.
